Day 27: The Beatles and MJ!

AM: Nickki taught class this morning, and it was FANTASTIC!!!!!!! She was smiling the entire class and you could tell that she loves her job. She ended class by saying “love is the seed, plant the seed, share the seed. all you need is love” and then played all you need is love! After class, Monica, Britt, Pansy and I went to listen to Diane Ducharm again. Supposedly every training the majority of trainees have an issue with the same posture, we are Awkward, good but Awkward! The 6 inches is imperative to do this posture properly. Working in Awkward will help all of the postures after it, especially triangle and tree/toe. In Tree, it is important to bring your knee all the way up and over to get your foot as high as possible! She also said that in half-tortoise, you should NOT touch your forehead to the floor before the fingers, the fingers should touch first or they should touch AT THE SAME TIME!

Gino, Monica, Britt, Marie and I with Nikki after class!

Psoture Clinic: Mark from Bikram Yoga in the City, Chicago, lead posture clinic today. We finished separate leg and started triangle. After reading my comments, Bruce, one of the other teachers, decided to jump up and be one of the students. My homework was to give corrections. He acted like a “new student;” looking around, very confused and to top it off he fell into the splits! I feel like he tripped me up, but everyone else said that I did a good job handling it.

PM: Oh DOM!!! That is all! Class finished with a dance party to MJ instead of savasana.
